Valkhof Museum

The Valkhof Museum has reopened its doors after an extensive renovation and sustainabilityupgrade. The renewed museum in Nijmegen is a contemporary meeting place wherearchaeology, history and art come together. Based on the idea that borders not only divide butalso connect, the museum tells the story of the region.

Bruns was responsible for the development and production of a large number of exhibitioncomponents for the permanent presentation ‘Where people meet’ and the multi-yearexhibition ‘From Within’, according to the design by Studio Louter and OPERA Amsterdam.

The added value of Brunslay in the combination of high-quality furniture and display case realisation, knowledge ofconservation requirements for museum collections, and careful integration of audiovisualtechnology. The result is a high-quality and sustainable museum interior in which presentation,technology and collection come together naturally.
