Musée Savoisien narrates the diverse history of the city of Chambéry, Savoie, and its inhabitants.
The team led by French architect Pascal Prunet and Ateliers Adeline Rispal from Paris has transformed the 13th-century former Franciscan monastery and its adjoining cloister garden into a space of creativity, reflection, information, and interaction. The permanent exhibition spaces are located on different levels, presenting visitors with over 2000 exhibition objects and relics.
Bruns has developed, produced, and installed the display cases for the permanent exhibition. This required very close collaboration with the museum and the contractor responsible for the decor, furniture, and object installation.
