The Tourist Inspiration Point Ommen is housed in the renewed Cultural Historic Centre of Ommen.

The new interactive inspiration point provides visitors with tips for visiting Ommen and the Vecht Valley in a well-organised manner. The special nature, castles and river Vecht play a central role. The story of Krishnamurti, through whom Ommen temporarily grew into a spiritual world centre, is also discussed. Via video, photographs and moving elements, the visitor is enticed to explore the area.

“Today’s visitors search for information in different ways. It’s more about experience, interaction and inspiration. The new inspiration point is our response to that. By combining it with the museum, we want to strengthen both functions, “ says alderman Leo Bongers.

Bruns heeft in samenwerking met projectleider DestinatieX en ontwerpbureau Potztausend het Inspiratiepunt Ommen gerealiseerd. Een ontmoetingsplek waar je wordt meegenomen in het DNA en de verhalen van gemeente Ommen.
