Rijksmuseum de Gavangenpoort tells the story of crime and punishment from the 15th to the 19th century.
Visitors are challanged to think about the relationshop between crime, trial and punishment. Adults and children discover the inside of the cunturies-old prison. They get to know the jailer, the executioner and the judge. They even come face to face with a guillotine.
Bruns realised an air-conditioned outdoor display case to fit the guillotine. The display case is made of extra-clear laminated glass of 66.2mm. The foil of the glass is also UV resistant. The sliding doors make the display case easily accesible to the staff of Rijksmuseum de Gevangenpoort.
