NEMO Technium

In the family exhibition Technium at NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam (NL), you will unravel the technology around you.

Everything around us that is human-made, is technology. It is so obvious, that we almost don’t see it anymore. On the renewed second floor of NEMO, you will discover what technological developments are hidden in daily life.

The masterpiece of Technium is The Factory, or a ball machine no less than 8 metres high, in which visitors make over 1,500 tennis balls run a course. Besides running the Factory, visitors can, for example, design their dream bike, use correct energy sources, design a t-shirt in the sewing workshop, dissect a smartphone, walk into an underground container and many more activities involving technology.
