Museum Jean Lescarts, the house of Jean Lescarts, is located in the ‘backyard’ of Musée des Beaux Arts in Mons Belgium.
Jeans Lescarts was mayor of Mons in the early 1900s and as a friend of the arts, scholar and collector, he eventually transformed his house into an art gallery. The 18-century building has been completely renovated to make way for a small-scale museum of Folklore and Bergen life.
Bruns was responsible for the entire scenography and soclage at the museum, executed according to Martial Prévent’s design, in collaboration with media company Ocular. The project comprehensive from air-conditioned showcases, wooden furniture, mirrors and curtains to interactive tables.
