Essen und Trinken: Reisen durch Körper & Zeit

The travelling exhibition ‘Essen und Trinken’ in the REM Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen in Mannheim (DE) consists of two sections: ‘Erlebnisreise durch den Körper’ and ‘Erlebnisreise durch die Zeit’.

The ‘Erlebnisreise durch den Körper’ zooms in on the path that food and drink take in the human body. The ‘Erlebnisreise durch die Zeit’ is about the cultural history of food and drink. Through interactive stations, archaeological finds, anatomical models and cultural-historical testimonies, visitors are guided through the exhibition in an educational manner.
