Église Saint-Taurin is a historic monument in the town of Évreux, located in Normandy, France. The church dates back to the tenth century and has been rebuilt and renovated several times throughout its long history.
During the restoration and refurbishment, Bruns contributed to the museological fit-out by installing a raised hardwood floor, one display case and two lecterns. In close collaboration with the client, heritage partners and the design team, these elements were technically developed, produced and carefully installed on site. The focus was on integrating them safely and respectfully into the monumental church environment, with a finish that complements the building’s atmosphere and architecture.
